For over 35 years, Hendersonville Orthopedics has provided the residents of Hendersonville, Asheville, Brevard, Rutherfordton, Western North Carolina and the Upstate with high quality, compassionate orthopedic care.  In 2009 Dr. Brian Seng joined Dr. Amal Das and together we have formed the Joint Specialsts of WNC.  Our goal is to provide focused care for those suffering from arthritis of the hip and knee.  Fellowship trained in total joint replacement of the hip and knee, we perform the most up to date techniques such as the Direct Anterior Hip Replacement, the Oxford Partial Knee Replacement, Signature Personalized knee replacement, minimally invasive knee and hip replacement, Rapid Recovery Joint Replacement and revision knee and hip replacement.  We are the referral center in Western North Carolina for complicated hip and knee replacement. 

  Dr. David Mackel will continue to provide general orthopedic care for conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, sports medicine, shoulder pain, fractures and other joint pain at Hendersonville Orthopedics.  Dr. Mackel has a special interest in the conservative treatment of arthitis of the knee including knee arthroscopy and knee joint fluid replacement therapy (viscosupplementation) with Hyalgan, a naturally found form of hyaluronic acid.
